To compensate for previous weather-related school closings, school will be in session on Monday, Feb. 16.
For the second year in a row, classes will be in session on Presidents’ day. Many students are disappointed to lose a day off.
“I think students are already stressed out and a day off would’ve been nice,” sophomore Kelly Williams said.
Other students feel that the presidents deserve to be honored and that school should not be in session on Presidents’ day.
“I heard from a teacher that we have enough school days already,” junior Emily Schmidt said. “It’s rude to presidents and we should be celebrating them and not ignoring them,” she added.
